Copernic Desktop Search Has a New Improved Index

Higher Capacity & Speed

Always striving for improvement, our team has developed a brand new enhanced index (map of your computer). This index revolutionizes the world of desktop search by increasing the speed of the initial scan and retrieval of results. However, the most important technological advancement is the boost of the capacity to index even more files than previous versions. Below are three major improvements: High Capacity Index
  • Initial scan is performed almost as twice as fast as the older version. Our tests show that on a normal personal computer with the same amount of files, the initial indexing took only 3 hours instead of 6.
  • Index architecture has now an improved structure allowing our search engine to search and get results instantly.
  • New index has a higher index capacity and users can now search through terabytes of content stored on their computer and network drives.

Copernic is pleased to offer this new improved version and looks forward to your feedback.

If you have any comments or suggestions, please post them below or the forum.
